Hello There!

Here i will show you my Myrmecocystus mexicanus queen from the USA.
They grow very slow but i hope it will be run after first workers. I think it was the first time that this ants are grow up in Germany. Some People have now a queen but i hear from no one that he get the first workers so i hope with my queen all is fine and she will start a colony soon. First i only have very small larvae!

Good choice! Honey ants are very interesting to observe! But i haven't seen big colonies of Myrmecocystus mexicanus on the forums. By the way, what do you feed the queen?
